Me and Chris are getting the homecamp pitch. We have some evil plans afoot. How about October 24th?

Ooo, I’d love another HomeCamp. Oct 24th clashes with BarcampLondon7 however [http://www.barcamplondon.org/].

Let me know if you need any help with finding venues, etc.

Yeah, probably not the best date, on the basis of Barcamp London? I’m quite likely to be there if anywhere.

In the late 1980s I used to attend regular meetings of the Forth Interest Group every month. These were held in one of the lecture theatres of what was South Bank Poly in Borough Road.

Might it be possible for us to find a willing host, and arrange regular monthly gatherings in the London area – say 6pm till 9pm with business then transferring to a local pub or Indian for a social.

With Homecamp occurring only about every 7 months, I find I get withdrawal symptoms 😉

Are there any other fora in the metropolitan area for the hacker/energy enthusiast?

For our further flung friends Winchester can only be an hour away by train, perhaps alternate London/Winchester for a bit of variety.
